After seeing him on Weltspiegel, a German weekly television reportage of news around the globe, eating dust on a plastic plate with his son outside his miserable little hut, I made up my mind to find him the next time I’m in Africa. The journalist in me was angry about this because I believe that journalists must not degrade another human being this much just for the sake of money. It degrades the profession. It degrades the entire humankind’s achievement in civilisation.
